Online Firearms Purchase/TRANSFERS

Please read rules and laws regarding online firearms purchasing.

Sierra Guns sells firearms only in accordance with Federal, State, and Local firearm laws.

 To Purchase Firearms Online:

You must be 18 or older to purchase long guns and 21 or older to purchase hand guns. Check your local & state laws.

Federal firearms laws prevents Sierra Guns from shipping firearms directly to individuals without a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL), however we can ship them to a FFL Dealer.

In order to purchase your firearm and have us ship it, you must complete the following steps listed below before we can process your order and ensure a trouble free transaction.

1.     Call Sierra Guns 1-801-776-5899 and confirm your purchase.

2.     Find a FFL dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. This can be your local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help you with your transaction.

o    If you know the dealer you are going to use Please send us the Dealers Name, Phone, or E-Mail.

 3.     Contact your FFL and tell them you would like to transfer a firearm from Sierra Guns. This transaction and associated transfer fees are between you and the dealer.

o    We do not contact the dealer to arrange a transfer.  We will work with them to get the required paper work after you provide us their contact information.

o    Most dealers charge a fee for a firearm transfer.

o    You must confirm the transfer with your local dealer in advance.

o    It will expedite the process by making arrangements with a FFL dealer prior to placing your order.

4.     Print and fill out our FFL Transfer Form:  Click Here  (include your order # on the form.)
Then give it to your FFL dealer to mail or fax with his license.

o    Keep all paperwork together in one envelope if possible.

o    Write your name and order number on any correspondence you send us.

 5.     Have your licensed firearm dealer mail or fax a signed copy of their FFL and Sierra Guns  FFL Transfer Form to:

1.     Once we have received a copy of your dealer's signed FFL and a completed Sierra Guns  FFL Transfer Form we will ship the firearm to the FFL dealer.

o    Handguns must ship air freight due to shipping regulations.

o    Long guns may ship ground instead of air freight.

 2.     We will send you an email with the tracking number when the firearm ships.

o    We do not ship outside the United States.

o    Firearms will not be shipped to any restricted locations.  

3.     Once your FFL dealer receives your firearm, they will perform your background check. You will then need to complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up your gun.

Write your Name and Order Number on any correspondence you send us.

 NOTE: Ammunition and Firearms must be purchased separately On-line, in two separate orders.

To Purchase Ammunition Online:

Federal law requires that you must be at least 18 years old to purchase rifle ammunition and 21 years or older to purchase handgun ammunition.

• You do not need an FFL to purchase ammunition online.
• All ammunition will be shipped  UPS ground.
• We can ship ammunition to your door via UPS.
• Ammunition cannot be shipped air freight, due to shipping regulations.
• Ammunition and firearms must be purchased separately On-line.
• For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on ammunition.
• Always make sure you use the correct ammunition for your specific firearm.
• Check your local laws for any other regulations before ordering.
